Topics I want to research more about are Technology and the Role of Media and Space Exploration/Exploration of the World. I feel connected to these topics because I want to know the influence the media really has and the exploration of space. The topic is important to our community because media is a big role in our lives.

My experience at the USS Midway was fun. I really enjoyed walking around with my volunteer and my group. My volunteer was very nice and looked as if she enjoyed her time with us. Due to my volunteer leaving after lunch, we joined with a different group and that portion of the tour was very entertaining. The volunteer talked about how it was like on the ship and what he enjoyed about serving on it.

As I was reading your response to our questionnaire I noticed that you were stationed in California due to your husband being in the Navy. I connected to this because I am in California because my dad was in the military and he was stationed here .

1968 was a time where many felt emotions of empowerment and innovation. The empowerment from songs created by artists like Aretha Franklin and James Brown. The innovation of The Merry Pranksters driving around in a painted bus and performing on top of it. The creative clothing designs from upcoming designers, like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren . Overall,  the 60’s were a roller coaster of events, ranging from good and bad.
